I wanted to take a slightly different approach this year and share 24 for ’24 New Year resolutions that are both unique AND empowering to give you some inspiration. We want to set goals that are going to grow and stretch you, without being so far off that they’re unrealistic within the set timeline. So, let’s get to these goals.

As a female entrepreneur, goal setting whether it’s for the year, for the quarter… or both is necessary to stay on track for the year. Goal setting gives you a vision and direction of where you want to take your business and your life in the upcoming months and year. And as much as New Year resolutions may seem cliche, there is a reason that so man entrepreneurs and leaders take the time to set their intentions and goals for a New Year.
Why Set Goals and create a 24 for '24 new year resolutions list?
How often do you accidentally achieve a goal or reach a goal that you didn’t know you were pursuing? I’d be surprised if the answer was frequently.
Most people need goals and a vision to hold onto in order for them to be successful. Without goals and New Year resolutions, it would be so easy to get side tracked and miss out on a goal because you have no idea where you’re going.
A really good analogy for goal setting in business is considering going on a trip without a map or a destination. If you are traveling from Florida and you want to go to New York, you need to know up front that you are traveling TO New York. Otherwise, you might start taking a direction West instead of North.
It’s the same in goal setting. You need to KNOW where you’re going in order to take the correct actions.

You likely became a female entrepreneur so that you can create a life you love, not to live to work 24/7.

Now that we’ve talked about the different types of goals and why they’re important, let’s get into the list of 24 goals for 2024! These are meant to be inspirational, unique, achievable, AND customizable to your life and business.
- Hit a revenue goal in your business
- Launch a new product/revenue stream
- Create consistent passive income every month
- Hire your first (or next) virtual assistant/employee
- Have a consistent date night with your spouse/partner
- Create a special family tradition
- Commit to no screen times
- Take a random weekend trip as a family
- Save for an important future purchase
- Make your first investment (this could be as little as $100 if you’ve never invested in anything)
- Challenge yourself to a no spend week or month (besides essentials of course)
- Average 10K steps 5 days a week
- Try a new fitness class (or two, or three)
- Test out healthy recipes and find your new favorite
- Prioritize nervous system and hormone regulating activities
- Eat breakfast before coffee
- Make sure you are eating protein at every meal
- Develop a consistent practice of prayer/meditation
- Read a faith based book
- Pursue new friendships this year
- Attend an event or workshop by yourself to meet new people
- Read 2-3 books every quarter (push yourself outside of your comfort zone and try at least one new genre a quarter)
- Attend an event/conference for your business or to better your mindset
- Listen to podcasts around a certain topic you want to learn about or an area you’re growing in
